You may be wondering why this blog is named "Framing Cali".

T and I have a daughter named...
You guessed it...
Cali.
Her name is born of my love for the Golden State.
But then in April of 2015 we found out we were expecting another baby.
In December of 2015, we welcomed Nash Reeder Gustafson.
If he survives Crazy Cali, it'll be a miracle.
Recently, we're making big changes. T decided to leave baseball and enter into the "real world". We're (((finally))) settling down into southern Georgia and making an effort to settle into this community.
Finally.
For longer than a 5 month stint.

This blog is where I write down my thoughts, feelings, events, etc, during this transitional period of leaving the baseball world and settling into our first long-term home. In my mind, it is a way for us to "frame" this special time in our lives. A modern journal. A way to come back years from now (if the internet still exists) and remember what these days were like.
The good, the bad, and the ugly.
Mostly good.
